We are looking for a passionate Software Sales Support Representative that has the drive and initiative to exceed in inside/outside sales. This position will be responsible for prospecting and developing account plans with delivery of excellent customer service to existing and new customers. This position will be working directly with the President & CEO to learn industry sales basics and train/develop to be in outside sales.

Responsibilities:

Overall

  • Assist in building, developing, and growing business relationships by recognizing the needs of the customer
  • Initiate contact with potential customers via follow-up calls and emails from researched leads, cold calls, web leads, assigned leads, and industry contacts
  • Learn PCMI’s software product at a fast pace
  • Construct sales demonstration material and assist in sales demonstrations to showcase product features
  • Possible domestic and international travel for sales calls and tradeshow events at little notice

Sales Support/CRM Management

  • Maintain files on potential/current clients with information and paperwork
  • Research companies having meetings with and add information to the CRM
  • Prepare CRM tool with any relevant information/materials for meetings
  • Input recent interactions with current and potential customers into the CRM
  • Inform sales team members about prospective customers for demo purposes
  • Take diligent notes at daily sales meetings and distribute to team and CRM tool after every meeting
  • Assist in managing the sales pipeline by adding new potentials as company relationships develop
  • Responsible for maintaining, updating, and cleaning out accounts and contacts in CRM
  • Look for new ways to streamline the way we use our CRM and make it more useful as a sales tool
  • Assist team in various sales tasks as necessary

Market Research

  • Search for new potential customers in both the Automotive and Consumer segments utilizing tools such as LinkedIn and WhoisVisiting
  • Learn/understand PCMI’s position in the Extended Warranty and Service Contract Industry

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of sales experience
  • Ability to be a self-starter and is not afraid to pick up the phone
  • High level of energy, persistence, and a strong desire to do whatever it takes to win
  • Ability to listen to customer needs and shape a shared vision for a solution
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills with great attention to detail

Experience Preferred:

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, or related field or equivalent work experience
  • CRM tool experience (Zoho, Salesforce, etc.)
  • Relevant industry experience or understanding (Auto, Extended Warranty, Services Contracts)
  • Experience in the IT industry
