Being a growth-oriented technology company in a strong market, PCMI was very attractive to me. Employees are encouraged to take ownership of their role, which has provided me the opportunity to completely oversee the finance function.

Role at PCMI

As Vice President of Finance, Bob Vogel is the owner of the finance function here at PCMI. Bob oversees profitability tracking while also adhering to budgets and projecting future growth as well as potential. In this newly created role, Bob not only serves as an aide to President and CEO, Mark Nagelvoort, but will also be a main asset in identifying PCMI’s success and strategizing where the company can improve

Career

Prior to PCMI, Bob was a Corporate Controller and functional owner of the finance and accounting department for a repossession technology provider that was eventually acquired by Motorola Solutions. He spent 6 years there growing his department from 3 direct reports to 11 and put all reporting and structure into place to run a $100 million entity.

Education

Bob graduated from Northeastern Illinois University in just 3.5 years with a Bachelor’s in Accounting. After working professionally for the past 15 years, he is currently studying for the CPA exam and hopes to be licensed soon.
